SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider point designed for intervention activities a high influx of prospective beneficiaries, which click here makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to help the servicing of all prospects and maximize use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
